In a context in which sustainability is a key factor in business strategy, we have successfully passed the EcoVadis evaluation, obtaining the Silver Medal. This recognition places ourcompany in the top 15% of all organisations assessed in the last 12 months, highlighting its commitment to responsible management in key areas such as the environment, labour practices and human rights, ethics and sustainable procurement.
What is EcoVadis and what does its assessment entail?
EcoVadis is a global platform that measures the sustainability performance of companies in different sectors. Its assessment methodology is based on international standards such as the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI), the UN Global Compact and ISO 26000. Through its analysis process, EcoVadis provides an objective and detailed view of the social and environmental impact of companies, enabling them to identify areas for improvement and strengthen their corporate responsibility strategies.
To award the medals, EcoVadis compares each company's performance withothers in its database, ranking them by percentile. The top-scoring companies receive recognition according to their position in the overall ranking. In this case, Silver: top 15% (85th percentile or higher).
Each medal is awarded according to this four key áreas:
- Environment
- Labor practices and human rights
- Business ethics
- Sustainable purchases
To be eligible, a company must achieve a minimum score of 30 in each of these categories.
